BrainDrops FAQ

Is 15 mg too much?

15 mg is a deliberately high serving, and it is the exact amount in one full 0.5 mL dropper. It suits people who have compared the 1 mg bottles and want a stronger, simpler daily dose. It is not a low-dose product. If you are sensitive to new supplements, start with half a dropper for the first few days and build up. Talk with your healthcare provider if you are unsure.

How soon will I notice anything?

Everyone is different, and we will not promise you a date. Many customers tell us they notice something in the first two to three weeks, usually fewer foggy starts and an easier afternoon. The fairest test is to take it daily for three to four weeks, then decide while your 30-day guarantee is still open.

Is this just folic acid with a fancy name?

No. Folic acid and L-methylfolate (5-MTHF) are two different forms of vitamin B9. Folic acid is the synthetic form and is converted in steps. 5-MTHF is already the active form. Folic acid is not a bad ingredient, and plenty of people do well on it. Our point is simpler: the form matters, so we show you exactly which one is inside. The Supplement Facts read L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium salt, 15 mg.

What if it does nothing?

Then you get your money back. Every order is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, opened bottle included. Take it daily, and if it is not for you, contact support within 30 days for a full refund.

Where is the B12?

It is in the same dropper. Every serving has 1,000 mcg of methylcobalamin (methyl-B12), the active form of B12, alongside 15 mg of L-methylfolate. No second bottle to buy.

How does it taste?

Mild. The organic glycerin base is lightly flavored with natural flavoring and citric acid, so it is easy to hold under the tongue for 30 to 60 seconds without any harsh aftertaste.

How many servings are in a bottle?

60. One serving is one full 0.5 mL dropper, once a day, so one bottle lasts about two months. Three bottles are 180 servings and five bottles are 300.

Can I trust what is on the label?

You should not have to take our word for it. Every lot is tested by an independent lab for identity and potency, which means the 15 mg of L-methylfolate and 1,000 mcg of methyl-B12 on the label are what is in the dropper. The lot number is printed on your bottle. Send it to support and we will email you the certificate for that lot. The full Supplement Facts and all five inactive ingredients are public: organic vegetable glycerin, purified water, natural flavoring, acacia gum and citric acid.

Why pay more than a basic folate?

Compare by the serving, not the bottle. One bottle is 60 full servings of 15 mg L-methylfolate plus 1,000 mcg methyl-B12 for $49.95 with free shipping, about $0.83 a day. Buy 2, Get 1 FREE is 3 bottles for $99.90 ($33.30 each, about $0.56 a day). Buy 3, Get 2 FREE is 5 bottles for $149.85 ($29.97 each, about $0.50 a day). Many cheaper bottles are 1 mg, or leave the B12 for you to buy separately.

Is this a subscription?

Only if you choose it. A one-time order is $49.95 and never renews. Subscribe & Save is $29.00 per bottle, ships 1 bottle (a 2-month supply) every 2 months, and you can cancel anytime.

Do I need an MTHFR test to take this?

No. BrainDrops is not a gene product, and we will not tell you a test result means folic acid cannot work for you. Some people choose 5-MTHF after a result, some because a clinician suggested it, and some because they want the active form with B12 at a clear dose. Feeling foggy does not prove a folate problem either. Your B9 is simply one choice you can examine, and we make it easy to examine.

What if it feels like too much for me?

Some people find a 15 mg serving more than they want, especially in the first days. Start with half a dropper, take it in the morning and build up. If it still does not suit you, stop and use the 30-day money-back guarantee. You should not have to pay to find out a product is not your fit.

Can I take it with my medication?

BrainDrops is a dietary supplement. It is not meant to replace anything your doctor has prescribed. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before you add it, especially if you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication.
